LAKE WHITNEY STATE PARK
2004 trip to Lake Whitney and the annual Star Party held there. On the way north on I-45 we passed the large statue of Sam Houston, cut across country on two lane roads to Waco, and went through some small towns. We returned through Waco, Navasota, and Conroe. Always enjoy that trip, not too far, less than 200 miles.
