A quick trip to Pennsylvania and some short trips within Texas
All pictures are in chronological order within each trip. The first group of pictures is of a trip to Pennsylvania in late September 2008 to attend a class reunion .

The following trips were all within Texas. This second group is from September 2009. Took the RV and went to the Austin area to get away from Hurricane Ike. Stayed at McKinney Falls State Park. Nice walking trails, scenery, and wildlife.

Huntsville State Park is the closest State Park to us. It has a large lake, Raven Lake, and hiking trails. It too, is a nice park.

Bastrop State Park has beautiful tall pines. The upper level has a golf course. One quick stop-over one night, hope to add more pictures when we get back to it.

On our way home from a doings in San Antonio, we stopped for the evening at Pecan Park Campground, San Marcos River. Old Pecan leaves and Shih-Tzu's long hair do not mix (or should I say they mix too well) Spent hours getting them out of our four dogs fur. Other than that, would like to fish the river sometime.
